Our Mandates

Temple restoration and preservation
To restore a temple is to protect a chapter of India’s living history. The Angadi Foundation supports the upkeep, conservation, and revival of sacred sites so that these places of worship and the traditions anchored within them remain accessible and intact for future generations.

Contributing to initiatives that promote child welfare, nutrition, education, protection and ensuring holistic development for children from under-resourced communities.

A milestone rooted in faith and history, the Foundation served as the principal contributor to the Punnar Prathishta of Sri Viswakesana at the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the most sacred sites in Vaishnavism. Held in the presence of the Travancore Royal Family and the Devaswom Board, the ceremony coincided with the Mahakumbhabhishekam after nearly 270 years. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to restoring South India’s cultural, philosophical, and spiritual legacy.

Radhararaman Hari Kothandaraman
Radharaman Hari Kothandaraman is the Founder, CEO, and Principal Designer of The House of Angadi, and Creative Director of Advaya. Rooted in a six-century family weaving heritage, he has been committed to preserving India’s textile traditions since the age of 20. He founded The House of Angadi in Bengaluru in 2001 to safeguard living crafts while creating sustainable livelihoods for weavers. Through deep engagement with weaving communities across India, he drives craft-centered innovation that honors heritage, dignity, and continuity for artisans.
Supria Radaraman
Supria Radharaman is a seasoned Chief Operating Officer with 15+ years of experience in the fashion industry, committed to ethical growth and creative communities. A NIFT alumna, she holds degrees in Fashion Design and Fashion Retail Management. Her career spans leadership roles with international luxury brands and independent work supporting emerging designers. At The House of Angadi, she leads HR, marketing, branding, and buying across multiple divisions, driving responsible and people-centric growth.
Kothandaraman Mallikaraman
Mrs. Raman, mother of Radharaman Hari Kothandaraman—Founder, CEO, and Principal Designer of The House of Angadi—has been closely associated with the brand since its inception. A respected presence among Angadi patrons and Bengaluru society, she co-founded the brand alongside her son. She played a key role in shaping Angadi’s early vision and values. Though not involved in daily operations today, she continues to embody the brand’s legacy and ethos.
